Daybreak Car Show, July 20, 2017

The LiveDaybreak.com folks sponsor a monthly car show on SoDa Row during the summer months. I was home alone while this one was going on, so I decided to walk over and see if there was anything worth capturing. There was! My favorite vehicle at this particular car show was the two-tone Brown 1966 Ford F150 Truck. My dad owned a White and Blue 1966 Ford F250 Truck that he used for his carpet-installing business in the early 70’s. It’s the vehicle I learned how to drive in. Good memories!

And as you look at the photos in this little slide show, you’ll notice a 1967 Olds Toronado; no, this one wasn’t at the car show, but I thought I’d throw it in anyway (and you may notice that it’s a photo of a 1:64 model). I used to own a 1966 Olds Toronado (full size), it was my first car. My second car was a 1978 Honda Civic. Quite a change from a six-passenger coupe to a sub-compact! Both cars were fun; each in their own way.
