The Nicolesy 52 Photo Challenge topic for week 6 is “Framing”. Either a natural frame around the subject captured in camera, or a frame added to the photo in post-processing.
The blue bottle was a new photo that I took specifically for this challenge, even though it’s not a new subject.
The display case photo is one I took inside a Sprouts store. I took my camera in with me with the intent of finding a photo that would fit the framing theme. I walked along the refrigerated display cases until I saw this one. I don’t know how someone in the store knew that I needed to find something that was framed, but they sure went out of their way to make a nice cardboard and tape frame for me.
The photo of the art supplies in the wall frame isn’t one I took specifically for this challenge. I actually took this photo several years ago while visiting Skyler and Shaylie. Shaylie had hung this frame on the wall and then used it to store art supplies. I was intrigued by the display of art supplies as well as by the shadows.
