The Frisbee

Finn and Leon were walking down the street when they passed a nice passerby who was talking to another nice passerby. One nice passerby said to the other, “It was a bit sunny the other day, so my kids and I went outside to play catch with the frisbee that they got for Christmas.” The other nice passerby asked, “Did you and your kids have fun?” “Yes, we did, right up to the moment when the frisbee landed on the roof”, replied the nice passerby.

Leon said to Finn, “Did you hear that? There’s a frisbee on a roof! We could help them out by getting it down for them!” Finn wasn’t sure about that, so he just said, “Oh. Are you sure about that?” “Yes, I’m sure”, replied Leon, “It would be a nice opportunity to do something nice for that nice passerby!”

So the search began for Finn and Leon to find some way to get a frisbee off of a roof.

As they continued to walk down the street, they noticed a thingy on the sidewalk. They watched some nice workers using the thingy to lift themselves up so they could work on things that were way up high. “Hey! We could use that thing to get a frisbee off of a roof!, exclaimed Leon. “Yes, it looks like it goes high enough for a roof”, observed Finn.

It goes up and down, but how do we get it to the roof?

But as they stood on the thingy, the workers came back, so Finn and Leon ran away. “I’m sure there’s something we can use to get a frisbee off of a roof”, said Leon. “Yes, I’m sure you’re sure there is”, agreed Finn.

So the search continued.
