This is an HDR image of the LDS Oquirrh Mountain Temple in the Salt Lake Valley. My daughter-in-law suggested to me that I submit some of my photos of LDS temples to a photo contest that was being sponsored by LDS Living and Deseret Book. The contest was to find photos for a 2014 calendar. This is one of the photos that I submitted, and it was selected to be the photo for October. I woke up at 4:30am to be able to have time to drive over to get some photos of this temple with the full moon behind it. I pulled into a subdivision that is currently under construction, got out of my truck, setup my tripod and camera and started taking some shots. As I was standing there, another car pulled in next to me and just sat there. The driver never got out or said anything to me. But I noticed that he was wearing a bright orange shirt, like the kind some construction workers wear. I'm sure he was there to see if I was stealing anything from the construction site.
