My Thrift Store Santa Excursion, Part One

As some of you know, I like to visit Thrift Stores. I have been able to find some very interesting things and some very interesting and useful things! For example, I found a slotted spoon for placing eggs in boiling water and a thing for doing something, but I don’t know what. Lately, though, I have been hunting for Santa Claus figurines; and I’ve been finding quite a few! I must confess, though, that I haven’t actually purchased any of them. But what I have done is to photograph them in the store and then turn the photos in to faux watercolor pictures using Photoshop and Profactions’ Aquarelleum plugin. Here are a few of them that I have made so far:

And then I was at an event that our HOA put on for the kids in our neighborhood where they could come and meet Santa and have some treats. I made sure to get a picture of this real life Santa, too:
