Steven Ralph and Lisa Ann Sharp

A Pin Collection

I started a pin collection several years ago because, well, why not? Lisa had given me a pin when we were first dating, and I eventually got the idea to add other pins. The pin Lisa gave me is the “I’m Sweet” pin, because apparently she thinks that I am sweet.

The following photographs are of most of the pins in my collection

I’m Sweet
The Beatles
The Olympics. Thanks go to Kristin for giving me most of these pins, including the one from the 1972 games in Munich
United States Air Force
Yes, I’m Irish!
I wonder if the pin to the left of the dragon is right side up, or not
From the days when I used to donate Platelets at ARUP Blood Services
Some sports-related pins. The Leukemia half-marathon pin is from my daughter-in-law Shaylie, who actually ran in that race.
I used to travel to New York, NY quite a bit. I really do love New York, it’s an interesting place, and I was originally scheduled to be in Tower One of the World Trade Center at 9:00am on Tuesday, September 11, 2001; fortunately, the meeting had been postponed.
Other military and related pins, including the Secret Service
Cars. I’ve always been a Porsche fan.
The “Sleep With Me” pin is from the “Sleep With Me Podcast” that I like listening to at night while going to sleep.
US States and Cities
Schools. I attended Southern Utah University (SUU) and Western Governors University (WGU). Lisa attended Utah State University, and she used to work at Hillsdale Elementary
Sone international pins
The Star Trek pin makes the communicator sound 😉
Coca Cola
The Mona Lisa Twins and Yes are two of my favorite bands, in addition to The Beatles
Vacations and stuff
USA
Critters and stuff

And here’s a photo of most of the pins in my collection:

You can see these same photos, but at a higher resolution, on my smugmug website: www.stevenralphimages.com/Collections/Pins
