Sally, Wait

Finn and Leon were out for a morning stroll when they passed a man with a camera. “Hey, that’s a photographer guy!” yelled Finn. Leon responded with, “It looks like he’s trying to take a picture of the sunrise, let’s hurry and get out of his way!”

As they were trying to get out of the way, the photographer guy said, “Sally, wait!” At least, that’s what they thought he said. They stopped walking and stood there looking at each other.

“Why did you stop, Leon? Your name isn’t Sally, and neither is mine! At least, I don’t think it is.”, questioned Finn. “I know that. I stopped to look around for Sally.”, replied Leon. “Oh.” said Finn.

The photographer guy interrupted Finn and Leon’s discussion to tell them that he didn’t say “Sally, wait”, he had said, “Silhouette!”

Finn then asked, “Who’s silhouette?” The photographer guy told them that it’s not a who, it’s a what. So Finn asked, “What’s a silhouette?” Before the photographer guy could respond, Leon, the know-it-all, jumped in and said, “It’s just one.” “Just one what?”, asked Finn. Leon continued to explain that “a silhouette is just one of something, and two of them are called a pirouette.” “Oh”, said Finn, “you know a lot of stuff.”

The photographer guy just stood there, dumbfounded. Leon’s explanation was making his head spin.
