I was introduced to the music of The Beatles in the summer of 1972 when I was 13 years old. That summer, I spent a lot of time at a friend’s house listening to records. Our favorite record to listen to was Abbey Road, especially side 2. Those are good memories for me and listening to The Beatles now brings back the same good feelings I had that summer.
And now I get the same good feelings when listening to the MonaLisa Twins! Their music is pure joy and brings a smile to my face!
The MonaLisa Twins are intelligent, humorous, insightful and gifted song writers and performers. They’re very talented and they have obviously combined their talent with a lot of hard work and experience.
In addition, they have a very talented support team: their father, their step mother and, I’m sure, many others. It’s my opinion that their father provides the same sort of things to the MonaLisa Twins that George Martin provided to The Beatles. The production of the MonaLisa Twins music and videos is phenomenal!
If you haven’t experienced the MonaLisa Twins’ music and videos, I highly recommend that you do!
In addition to amazing original songs, the MonaLisa Twins do covers of The Beatles, David Bowie, Donovan, Bob Dylan, The Lovin’ Spoonful, The Who, Pink Floyd, Don McLean and others.
I have recently purchased all of the music that the MonaLisa Twins have made available for sale. This is the first time in many, many years that I have actually wanted to buy music from any new artists.
