Gratitude, Wisdom and Knowledge

I was listening to episode 3 of the podcast, “So, here’s my story” where I heard a wonderful quote by Julio Olalla:

“Wisdom is a love affair with the questions; and knowledge is a love affair with answers. We have lost concern for wisdom”

So I did a search for Julio Olalla and found this youtube video:

I really like how he emphasizes gratitude and how important it is in our lives. The underlying theme of the Salt Lake SGR Club that was held during 2008 and 2009, was awareness; awareness of ourselves and what surrounds us. And awareness is facilitated by gratitude. Without gratitude, we become blind to our own inner workings and how our inner workings interact with the world we live in; the people we meet and the things we do.

I’ve watched this video several times, and I just love Julio’s quiet way of speaking (and I love his Spanish accent, too.)

While watching that video, I copied down another piece of wisdom from Julio Olalla:

“Wisdom; you cannot own it. Wisdom; you cannot patent. Wisdom has a different dimension.”

So here are some of my photos for your enjoyment:
