Hangin’ Around

Finn and Leon wanted to go out and play in the snow, but they were told by a nice passerby that they should wear coats. “Why is that?”, asked Finn. The nice passerby said that it was cold outside and that they could freeze if they didn’t wear something warm. “Oh”, replied Leon.

Neither Finn nor Leon knew where they would go to get coats. After all, they had never warn coats before and they had been outside many times in the cold. In fact, there was one time that they deliberately buried their heads in the snow to cool off after doing a LOT of dishes!

But Finn and Leon thought that the nice passerby must know what he was talking about, so they wandered off to find some coats. Their wandering took them to some interesting places. First, they saw a plant in a pot. Wondering if that was where coats were kept, they climbed in to see.

No coats here unless they look like green prickly things!

Nope, no coats there. Just a bunch of really hard, prickly leaves. Next, they climbed up a conveniently-placed ladder and looked inside the ceiling. Nope, no coats there. Just a bunch of cables and dust. Seeing all the dust, Leon reminded Finn that he makes a good duster. Finn agreed.

Just cables coated with dust up here.

They continued to wander until they saw something that was REALLY interesting! Neither of them had any idea what it might be, but it looked REALLY fun to play on! So they climbed up and started playing on it.

Lots of fun, but still no coats! “That’s OK”, said Finn, “when we really need coats, we’ll find ‘em.”
