In honor of Armistice Day, now called Veterans Day, Finn and Leon walked through Memory Park and contemplated the many brave men and women in the Military; past and present.
“To us in America, the reflections of Armistice Day will be filled with lots of pride in the heroism of those who died in the country’s service and with gratitude for the victory, both because of the thing from which it has freed us and because of the opportunity it has given America to show her sympathy with peace and justice in the councils of the nations.” – Woodrow Wilson
When Finn and Leon were done walking through Memory Park, they headed back to the house with the piano (they’ve had a lot of luck being let into that house, so they thought they’d try it again). As they got closer to the house, they noticed that there was a flag in front. “Cool!”, said Finn. “This must mean that the people who live here are grateful for the Veterans, too!” added Leon.
