On Saturday, August 26, 1916, William Wallace Flanigan (my Great Grandfather) discovered a natural arch on Cedar mountain. On Monday, September 3, 2018, several of his descendants, including me, their families and friends trekked to see the arch that is now known as “Flanigan Arch”. I had never had the opportunity to see this arch before, although I’ve heard family members talk about it quite a bit. While we were there enjoying the view, my brother, Scott, played his bagpipes while standing on the arch. It was very cool to see the arch in person and to witness Scott and his bagpipes. Here are a few photos I took of the arch.
