I’ve been working from home since the start of the Covid Pandemic in early 2020, and I’ve really enjoyed it. I actually end up putting in more time at work than I did before, and I feel that with the extra time I put in, I’m just as, if not more productive than I was when I was going into the office every day.
There are some things I do miss about being in the office, though. One of those things is the commute. What I liked about the commute was that it provided a lot of alone time, and it provided me with the opportunity to see things that I found interesting; interesting enough to take photos of what I saw.
Well, I was in Salt Lake at the start of June and on Sunday after arriving there I had the need to walk a bit to get some lunch. The walk was about a mile, and during that walk, I was able to see quite a few things that I thought were interesting enough to be photographed.
Here are the results:
I took a few of those photos and converted them to watercolors in Photoshop
Another thing that I miss is the time we would be able to spend with friends and family. So while in Salt Lake, Lisa and I did just that, we spent some time with friends and family.
And I helped myself to a cup of coffee.
And then Lisa and I flew home.
