Our good friends, Aaron and Susanna, came into town for a few days to visit and to see stuff. It was a great time!
For the second time this year, I went to the National World War I Museum and Memorial for a celebration. This time, we celebrated our Nation’s 245th Birthday.

While visiting Family and Friends in Salt Lake City last week, I had the chance to head over to Liberty Park and go in to the Tracy Aviary. I hadn’t been there in quite a long time. I only captured photos of the birds that weren’t in cages.
To honor those who have served and fallen in defense of our country, a Balloon Glow was held on Sunday, May 30th, 2021 at the National World War I Museum and Memorial in Kansas City, MO.
I was able to get a walk in after the rain stopped and before it started again. When it did start again, there was a lot of lightning. I thought about what it would be like to get hit by lightning; but was very glad that I didn’t find out. […]
The walk was in our neighborhood in Olathe, Kansas. The drive was through Kansas City, Missouri and Olathe, Kansas.
Friday was Papa Ralph’s birthday. He would have been 84 years old. Hippy bird day, Papa Ralph! I was able to capture a sunrise for his birthday (the one on the left) and then another sunrise this morning.
Tractors are cool and they’re all over the place! These are just a few of the tractors I’ve seen as I’ve walked or driven around.
