The Lavender Chair

Finn and Leon had wandered around for a few days, looking for something interesting to do. And even though they actually did pass many, many interesting things to do, they were so busy wondering that they didn’t notice. When a nice passerby made that observation about them, they then started to wonder how often that actually happened to them. This new state of wondering caused them to miss a great deal more interesting things to do as they continued to wander for many more days.

But they finally stopped wondering long enough to notice that there was something interesting over there. As they got closer to over there, over there became over here. “When did that change?”, asked Finn. Leon thought that maybe it was a gradual thing.

“Over here” turned out to be a lavender recliner in a nice, comfy room. This comfy room just happened to be in the same house where the nice young lady showed them the piano and where they had almost seen the chickens.

As they climbed up on the lavender recliner, they were joined by a few friends that they had never met before. “How do we know that they’re friends if we haven’t met them before?”, asked Finn. Leon’s reply was, “they must be friends, they’re in the same room as us”. “Oh”, said Finn.

With all sorts of new friends on the lavender chair

They continued to climb up the lavender recliner while their new friends ran off to play with the dog. As they climbed up, they noticed an interesting piece of art on the wall. Neither of them knew what this piece of art was, but it sure looked cool!

Yes, but what does it mean?

“Maybe someone will be able to explain it to us someday”, exclaimed Leon. “Does art need to be explained?”, asked Finn.
